I have photographed for fun for almost as long as I can remember. My grandmother gave me my first camera when I was about seven years old. It was an old Kodak Instamatic, the kind with the disposable flash cube on top. Little by little my photography has become more integrated in my other work through my books, and also through the occasional commission to shoot for some magazine or similar. This book was made to accompany my first solo exhibition as a photographer, Nordic: A Photographic Essay of Landscapes, Food and People. The exhibition was shown as a whole at the ASI in Minneapolis, Union Station in Los Angeles, Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle and the Swedish American Museum in Chicago. Parts of the exhibition have also been shown at AIPAD in New York and at EXPO Chicago. The book contains a complete catalogue of the exhibition and short essays about the various people and places I photographed for it.
The book will be delivered with a signature on its title page.
